Los Asistentes

What is a companion for anyway?  Elder Esparza, on the floor, has been having some back pain lately so this is what I found at the office this morning.  I could see Elder Lindao's head above the partition of the little office area and knowing that he's not that tall wondered what was happening.

I think we need to talk to them about their choice of ties today.  It was an obvious bad-tie-day.  We love these  young men.  Their service is invaluable and they do it with a smile and positive attitude and the question, "what can I do for you". 

Then later in the day Elder Cardenas, who had been an assistant in the mission, came to stay with us for one night because of the YSA conference that is being held in Tampico.  He is from Villahermosa but came to experience this conference because he arrived home last year too late to go to his own.  It was so great to see him.
