In the morning we visiting Rama 2. These Primaries are small but are reverent and are trying to follow the handbook for the year. We're so proud of the progress that they are making in the branches.
Each child is always so excited to receive their personal bag with scriptures. None of them have their own bible at home and then to have a bag with CTR in Spanish on the front and other special things inside is a wonderful gift.
They wanted to sing "Teach Me to Walk in the Light" for you. Here you go.
Then we attended the meeting of the other branch in Huejutla. Here is a short portion of the sharing time when they were talking about Noah's ark and getting animals to enter two by two.
This was probably a suggestion in the Primary manual but she whispered to each child a certain animal that when she gave the word they would have to sound like. (I can't think well in English or Spanish any more so I hope you understood that last sentence.) They lined up and when she said "go" they started mooing or barking, etc. and they had to find the other person in the room that sounded like them.
Then they passed the time to us to share the surprise we had brought.
One boy had seen the gift from the other branch in the morning and was excited to see that they would also be receiving one.
You've got to love those faces.
These children also wanted to sing for you. They must be learning more of the music of the Primary because they had made each child a little book with several of the Primary hymns inside. They all looked in their books like they hadn't been singing this song for very long.
Thank you, again, for these beautiful bags and scriptures for the children. It not blesses them but their families.
