Panuco 1 Primary

Today we drove out to Panuco for the meetings of the two branches.  We spoke in both of the Sacrament meetings and then stayed to attend the meetings in each branch afterward.
This is the Panuco 1 branch and I asked to take a picture of the women in the R.S. before they got started with the Relief Society or, as they call it, Sociedad de Socorro.

In the Primary the children were excited as we pulled out the CTR bags with their personal bibles, Articles of Faith card and bookmark.  Each also received crayons and were told to only use the yellow one to mark in their scriptures so that they could see what they had marked.

Cute boys.  Future missionaries.
She is the oldest girl in the Primary and probably helps a lot with the children.  Future Primary President.

It was a bit cool when we were driving out this morning but this little girl was still cold, I guess, or didn't want to take off her coat.

We like to help them in the filling out of the questionaire that our ward sent with the bags to get to know the children.

They draw a picture of themselves as well as answer some simple questions.  We also show them the self-portraits of the children of our Primary at home and read what kinds of things they like to eat, the things they like to do and what they also love about Primary.  This is José and he loved filling out his own sheet.

This is Jaqueline.  One of my favorites.  I have put her picture on the blog several times.  She's like another grandchild.  She runs and hugs me when we arrive in the branch and smiles at me during the sacraments meetings.  The first time I met her she was watching "Ice Age" on a computer in the church while her father was in his District Presidency meeting.  We watched together.  Now she is 5 years old and still just as adorable.  The girl on the right is her cousin, Becky.

More cute kids.
And here is the whole Primary holding their prizes.  Thank you, again.
