Special Training Session for the Hermanas

We held a special training session for the sister missionaries today.  We wanted to make it a little different for them.  Many of the elders because of leadership positions have the opportunity to eat in our home but never the sisters except when they arrive in the mission and when they go home.

So we decided to have a lunch with them as part of the training.  We had a baked potato bar which the majority of them had never seen.  Dad lead the way to show them how it was to be done.  Of course, I had my own rendition so we had fun with that.
Front row: Hermana Loeza (Tijuana, MX), Hermana Ramírez (Lambare Central,Paraguay), Hermana Archiveck (Sonora, MX), Hermana Cumba (Lima, Peru).
Back row: Hermana Vidál (Puebla, MX), Hermana Balladares (Chiclayo, Peru), Hermana Patroni (Huaura, Peru), Hermana Marín (Mexico, MX) Hermana Farfán (Portoviejo, Ecuador).

Sister Archiveck will be returning to her home in two days.  We will have 8 sisters for another 3 weeks.  Then we lose Sister Loeza but gain a new one.  They are few but can be a powerful force.
This collection of shoes is a little different from what usually sits in our front hall when the elders come.
