Here is the keyboard for this little branch. The small Primary chair seems to work best because there is nothing else to put it on. So the lever of the chair is perfect for the keyboard.
Here's Elder Kennelly who happens to play the piano so he gets to sit in the Primary chair each Sunday to give the branch real music.
This is a family that lives 1 1/2 hours from the church. They live half-way between two different branches and depending where he is working, they drive the long distance to attend church in this little city. The gospel means
that much to them. The opportunity to take the Sacrament means that much to them.
And this is the family of the Branch President. They seem to do everything. It is a struggling branch, at times. What a difference it would make to have a strong senoir couple to help to run the branch and support this good man every week. There is so much need for senior couples with good health and the means to serve.
After church we were invited to a sister's home for comida. She wanted us to stay the last time we were in Tamazunchale but we needed to get back on the road before dark. This is Moli. Chicken and rice that is prepared in a special way. It doesn't look very good and my face says something below.....
But it turns out that it tasted pretty good. I just have trouble eating chicken in some of these smaller places after seeing the chickens hanging in the markets. My eyes are so connected to my stomach. Dad seems to do much better but even he has trouble once in a while. The red heart on my jacket was given to me from a little girl at church. Dad also received on from her.
This is the sweet sister who fed us. She is a new member and joined when there was a bit of controvery going on in Tamazunchale. We hope she stays focused on the Savior and the gospel.

Bless your heart! See? Now you understand why I felt like I had to eat that octopus in Korea. Ha! I love you. I love your face in that picture. You've seen so many dead chickens I don't blame you for feeling a little queesy. We're so spoiled in the US aren't we!
And by the way, that chair by the piano has me rolling.
