I actually love sitting behind the elders when they are speaking or sharing their testimonies. They look so brand new when they arrive in the mission and then after some time their shoes, though they may be shined, show the wear of hard work. Their suits aren't quite as crisp and new but they are more than they were when they arrived.
After the testimony meeting we held some training and watched the movie about the life of John Tanner who sacrificed so much for the gospel. Our theme for this meeting was Consecration.
When we arrived at the mission home, all was well. The power had come back on and the food was ready. The elders were so happy because during the meeting Dad had told them about the dilemma. They were probably all say silent prayers for the power to come back on. It's one thing to have lunch after our consilios. It's another thing to give them comida after they've been fasting. It's an emergency.
Elder Esparza, Elder Stricklan, Elder Lopez, Elder Dominguez, Elder Goff.
Any time we are with missionaries, they are submitting their receipts for reimbursement. So before Elder Soto and Elder Newton leave their doing just that.

Elder Lopez, Elder Law, Elder Larsen, and Elder Teahan.

Elder Lopez, Elder Stricklan, Elder Larsen, Elder Young, Elder Swensen, Elder Teahan and Elder Salazar. They're all so wonderful and are doing a great work in each of their areas as zone leaders. Elder Swensen is one of our Assistants but will be transferred back out into the field for his last change to help a younger elder.
