Mata Redonda

We took Elder Acosta and Elder Hedin to a Dr. appointment and afterward returned them to their area across the river in Tampico.  We delivered them to the sister that had their comida for the day.  A house so humble that when we pulled up you couldn't tell if someone lived there or if it was just an abandoned cement structure.

This is kind of an enclosed front area that obviously used to be part of a house.  It hides the very humble cement house connected to it.  Probably only one room.  She was overjoyed that we had come and offered us mangos from her tree.  The people are so humble but so good.  Their lives are hard but the members are grateful for everything they have.  They reuse, then reuse, then reuse again.  They save everything because they will probably need it in another way later.  There are so many lessons, for those of us who have so much, to learn here.
