Transfer Day and Training

Today we received 12 new missionaries. Two Mexicans and 10 Americans. We feed them and have training here in our home.
They are all amazing and excited to get out there and start their missions. When we brought them to the mission home from the airport last night, a couple of them were giving the others hugs and expressing how excited that they actually made it here and how happy they were. We didn't even arrive at the mission home until about 8:30 at night but one asked if they were going to be able to go out teaching tonight. They're anxious and willing.
I made Aunt Diane's dessert called Cheesecake for a Crowd. When I happened into the kitchen, I found two of our office elders, Elder Fenton and Elder Perucci, licking the beaters and the knife. You can't leave them alone for a minute.
Later we drove all of the to the bus station to be on their way. These are our assistants right now. We have 3 because in 2 days Elder Vinay will be going home. Elder Tovar and Elder Seastrand will be doing the job. Now we need to get busy preparing for the 8 that come in tomorrow for the temple, feeding them and sending them on their way on Thursday morning. It's a revolving door here and a door that seems to always be feeding someone in a white shirt.
