Freedom Conference

Tonight Dad was invited to be a guest speaker at a special conference for people that are searching for answers to life's questions.  Once or twice a year they invite religious leaders to come to this forum to share what they believe in answer to a specific question they present.

Dad was introduced to the group of about 200 people who came to hear the opinions of 3 different religious leaders.  The question presented this time was, "How do you fill your emptiness when nothing seems to work" or "Como llena el vacio cuando nada basta?"

Those three presenters.  The first, was a leader from a Christian congregation, the second, was a Catholic priest, and then, Dad.

He chose to share the Plan of Happiness.  It was wonderful to listen to words of truth.  Many of the things shared by the others were good but lacked the simplicity and power of the Plan that gives us specific answers to this important question.  We are so grateful for the blessing of the gospel in our lives.

Afterward, the audience was allowed to ask questions to the 3 men.  One question was, "What is God?"  Another, "How can we help our children follow the teachings of Christ", and afterward, a man came up front  to Dad and asked, "Christianity comes from a 'pure source'.  Why are there so many different opinions about Christ and his church?"  The gospel of Jesus Christ answers all those questions. 
There were only 2  members of the Church in the audience besides us and our assistants.  They seemed to be very receptive to the Dad's words.  Afterward the committee from the Freedom group that organizes these meetings wanted a picture with the 3 speakers.
