We are still surprised at some of the different foods we can find here. On the left is pitala and on the right liche. We had never tasted the pitala so we bought two and when the Udall's came for Sunday dinner today we cut and tasted it.
It is one of the most beautiful fruits we've seen but it is deceptive. There is hardly any flavor and Dad thinks it really tastes more like a vegetable than a fruit. Maybe a little like a cucumber but not as much flavor. We were disappointed but it sure looked pretty on the table.

...and I'm just loving thinking of you two at the Centro looking at all the fruit and veggies...and pig heads....yum! Oh, that was so fun to share in those memories with you. We are so, so happy that we could come and experience that! Love you!
