Tree House in Tuxpan

Because of the changes in our mission boundaries we will probably only be staying at the this hotel in Tuxpan one more time. It is a Holiday Inn right on the river.
The architecture is so unusual because it looks like it is built in the trees. They kept one large tree in the middle of the property and then used concrete beams to portray the trunks and branches that hold up the hotel. It has a beautiful pool which we are never in. But right behind and to the side, there is always a soccer league game going on. We love to stand on the balcony and watch when we arrive. They are serious about soccer (futbol) here.
The next day we drove back to Papantla to interview a few missionaries. This statue is at another entrance into the city that we don't usually use. We love Papantla and will miss it.

THat hotel looks nice. For some reason....I thought you were staying in nasty places....is it nicer on the outside than on the inside?
