In Papantla we tasted a new thing. They take watermelon and put it through a juicer of just smash it up and put it in a big jug to drink. The ladle was much larger than the cup rim so the sticky stuff was all over. It also still has all the seeds in it. But it's delicious.
Papantla is where the Bishop of the ward who is a caterer always treats us with an amazing comida. The elder's manners change when they eat here. This is Elder Peralta and Elder Matadama.
There are always 4 courses on a white cloth with napkins stuck in the glasses. Real glasses. And not paper plates. When the mission changes in 5 weeks we will miss this piece of comida heaven.
Elder Merino and Elder Cano tried hard to get it all in the cup but the floor was every mother's nightmare. Sticky watermelon juice being tracked from one place to another. An elder actually got a mop and took care of it. Who it that elder's mother?
