Papantla Centro

We stopped for lunch at a cafe across from the plaza. Below us across the street was a rally for elections. It was noisy and obnoxious but the main person had this crazy mask on.
Dad had these delicious tacos and I loved the hot cakes. I've had more hot cakes in Mexico than I've had in many years. They were good and sometimes they seem safer.
A high five to the Plaza Pardo.
A view from the balcony of the restaurant.
Across the valley beyond the plaza is another statue. They are beautiful and amazing. Papantla is known for vanilla. It was discovered here.

The mask looks like a mask from Nacho Libre...from the wrestlers. Oh my!

And Dad's tacos DO look good! Glad you could find something for you to eat that didn't worry you.
