Today we had a zone conference here in Victoria. Later that evening we were invited to a lesson with Elder Kennelly, Elder Fletcher, and Elder Rodriguez. This is a wonderful family that wants to be baptized and are going through the process to get married. They have two teenage kids and a 3 year old. She sells clothes on the street every day so that her 2 children have 10 pesos each to ride the bus to their school. So 20 pesos a day for both of them. That's about $1.75 a day for them both to ride the bus. But it's a huge investment for this family. He also has a job to pay for food and rent on their little space.
After the lesson we took the elders back to their house. We thought the ceiling was interesting. All the paint is peeling off. The landlord has said that he will fix it but that hasn't happened yet.
And here they are in the kitchen with the clothes line hanging from side to side. We love these elders just as love them all.
