One of the difficult things about this calling is the good-byes. Your heart gets attached and then you have to send them on their way to other things.
Elder Tovar has served as an assistant for the past 10 weeks. The area presidency won't extend any missions but Dad has the option of either sending a missionary home 30 days early or extending them 30 days. Elder Tovar happily consented to stay. Dad called his mother to thank her for her sacrifice. He and Elder Seastrand have been a most excellent combination and have accomplished great things for the mission. We hope that someday in the future we can see Elder Tovar again.
