A couple of days before Elder Eskelsen was supposed to leave for Tampico he was rushed into the hospital in Provo for an apendectomy. Two weeks and 3 days later he is here in Tampico. He was so grateful to finally arrive. I love these pictures of the first bienvenidos.
He feels well and is excited to work. The other elders in his generation are grateful that he is here and well. We're grateful to have him. In the next two changes we receive 19 and then 20 missionaries. And next Thursday we finally receive the 8 (still one lacking) that should have arrived in July. Someday we'll catch up when they get the visa thing figured out.
