The Hansen's

This weekend the Hansen's who lead the Veracruz mission drove up to Poza Rica to meet with us and receive the materials from our office. We met Sunday night at the hotel and then the next morning. Afterward they followed us to Papantla to see where the chapel is that they'll be meeting in on July 1st with our/their missionaries.
We stopped at this restaurant in Papantla where Dad and I were a couple of weeks ago for lunch. Then we said good-bye. They drove back to Veracruz and we drove back to Poza Rica by way of Tajin. We wanted to stop just one more time. We didn't go inside the site but walked around where the vendors are set up.
We bought a ceramic pitcher from this little shop and the owner's mother was sitting in the hot shade. We just had to have a picture. And I needed to stand next to her so you could see just how tiny she is. She is not the shortest we've seen. In Tuxpan yesterday there was a grandmother who was about 8 inches shorter.

At one of the vendor where we bought the pitcher, Dad just had to try to play this game. He got the ball on the stick just as I started to film. I think it was therapy for him. We will miss this place so much. But we'll miss the missionaries and the wondefulr members of the church even more.
