First Mexican wedding experience

Our computer specialist here is a man named Abinadi. He was married last Thursday to a beautiful girl he's been engaged to for about 2 years. They apparently have long engagements. Temple weddings are not legally recognized here in Mexico so you get married civilly and then have 24 hours to get to the temple for the sealing or you have to wait 1 year. The civil ceremony was very business-like. This is the official that married them. She did speak for a few minutes and give a little advice. This is also our ward chapel.
Then on Friday, about 24 hours later, they were sealed in the Tampico temple. Afterward we went to their reception in our stake center. These are big occasion and there are many traditions during the evening. I hope you can see the mirrored ball on the stage and the DJ. There isn't a line. After the guests have been there for a couple of hours the couple appear and parade around the room to be presented to the guests. Each guest has their picture taken with the couple. They also served a dinner. After 4 hours we went home but the party was still going strong.
This is the bride and groom, Cecelia and Abinadi. He actually works for the church taking care of the technology needs of our mission wherever they may be.
