As we drove into Tempoal we saw this pickup full of school children all in their uniforms. We wish we'd have taken a movie so you could hear the happy sounds that match their smiles.
As you pull into the parking of the church you are greeted by the rooster and chickens that live there. Everytime we go to Tempoal this rooster is in the yard. How many of you can say there is a rooster in your church yard?
After interviews, Dad and I went into the center of this little town and found the usual beautiful plaza. Around the sides were people selling things and waiting to shine shoes. Dad got the best shoe shine he's ever had and a picture with this adorable little boy who carries around his little shoe shine box watching and learning the trade. He is 10 years old. We wanted to shine his shoes for him.
