This view is through the bus window but the temple is magnificent. We arrived in Mexico City and were taken to the temple to meet with the other presidents and their wives.

On Friday morning, we attended the temple with Elder Christofferson and his wife and other officials. After the session we came outside to take pictures of this beautiful temple.

A group picture was taken that we will receive later but we were able to have a picture taken with Elder Christofferson and his wife.

After the temple session we were taken to the ancient ruins of Teotihuacan. It was obvious that these people at one time had the pureness of truth but had corrupted it over time. These temples were constructed originally to teach how to become like God.

We both climbed to the top. The stairs were constructed to look like a man. The room at the top that represented the head is no longer there.

Those of us who hiked to the top stopped for a photo opportunity. You don't want to trip on these stairs. Our legs will hurt in the morning.

This is the temple of the Moon. They only allow you to hike to this level. Not nearly as high as the Temple of the Sun but the stairs are higher and more difficult to climb.

We were taught by the Area Presidency, Elder Christofferson and President Gonzales. Our hearts were filled with the goodness that has been given to us all through the Atonement. What a precious gift. This experience renewed us to go back and do what we were sent to do. What a privilege this is to be here. We have already received blessings here and at home.

These are the new Presidents and their wives for this year. The only ones missing are the Jespersons' who haven't yet arrived due to illness. We're hoping they join us shortly.

I love that picture of you and Dad with your arms out like you're flying. So funny! How great that you got to spend that kind of time with Elder Christopherson and his wife. That is so neat. I love you so much!!
Nice to see my family, whether by birth or by ward. They said they had a wonderful time as well in Mexico City. Sad that Ella had to miss her daughter coming home from her first day of school. That broke this mama's heart a bit but sacrifice is part of this package, right?? I am grateful you don't have that concern. You both look GREAT!!!
WHen I showed the boys these pictures today they said, "GRANDMA AND GRANDPA CALL!! They're so fun!" They miss you so much. I have to tell you that in one of the pictures, Connor mistook you for me!
You always seem to find a Indiana Jones hat, don't ya dad!
