Welcome back.  We had our first reunion of the Mexico Tampico Mission tonight.  We have been anxiously anticipating this day when we could, once again, be with those wonderful young men and women that we grew to love so much.
Because there was to be stake dance later tonight the stake came in and decorated the cultural hall for Halloween.  A little strange for a mission reunion but we appreciated having a warm place to be together as the weather has changed to cold.
Elder Bryant was one of the elders that greeted us at the airport when we arrived in the mission.  He was serving as Financial Secretary at the time.  He came tonight with his beautiful wife Lynzi.
Elder Judd Rich served as a great zone leader and it was a privilege to get to know his wonderful wife Celeste better at the reunion.  We had previously met her at our homecoming and then for ice cream in Logan when Dad ran the 'Top of Utah' marathon in September.  Elder Perucci served as our Materials Secretary for several months and is now engaged to Celeste and will be getting married in the new Brigham City temple in January.
Elder Fenton served as the Secretary to the President and is also engaged to Marissa.  Elder Sammy Teahan was an excellent missionary, zone leader, trainer and example in every way.  He experienced a special miracle related to his health during the mission.  Elder Condos grew a great deal in the mission and Elder Rothlisberger always had a tender heart and a thoughtful word to give.
Elder Zachary Walters has a special place in our hearts.  We are so glad that he came to the reunion and brought his beautiful wife, Jessica.  We only knew him a short time in the mission before he went home but hoped we'd see him again.
Elder Turner served as Financial Secretary for several months.  He also served in other capacities well.  He and his friend have been dating for almost a year and she has now decided to serve a mission.  A happy and also difficult decision.  He is a part of the notorious drum line at BYU.
Elder Follett served as our Material Secretary for a time and when we first met him in the mission in our first 'get to know you meetings' he came up to Dad with a sheet of his genealogy showing that we were related.
Marissa came to help with food so that I could enjoy the time with the missionaries.  Her husband was at home with sick kids and kids that had had too many babysitters lately.  Thanks, Marissa.
