Opening a New House

When you open a new house and have to buy supplies it is a big deal.  The first stop was Walmart.  The van had an accident and had been in the shop for a couple of weeks so our little van was put into operation.  You can put a refrigerator, even if it's a small one and everything else in the trunk of a taxi.  Fortunately, the mattresses and bed frames had already been delivered.
The next stop was Soriana's.  It's a local 'grocery and many more things' type of store nearby.  While there we ran into some of the elders doing their shopping for the week since it was P-day.  Either they hadn't been in the store long or they really do need more money because their basket was empty.

It must be a wonderful diversion just to walk around a brightly lit store and look at all the food and new things.  It must be the 'mental lift' part of the P-day activities.
We admit, that we need that sometimes, too.
