Our Christmas dinner and devotional in Mante was for the 2 zones Mante and Valles. The elders were in heaven because the Stake President's wife prepared the meal.
This is Sister Guerra. She is an amazing cook and prepared brisket and pork, mashed potatoes, mixed vegetables, rolls and brownies. These elders will probably never have another meal like this during their time in the mission. President and Sister Guerra both went to BYU and speak excellent English. They have become wonderful friends.
Here is the whole Mante/Valles group. A couple of them have only been in the country for 2 weeks but are doing well and teaching there trainers how to be better missionaries. Funny how that happens sometimes.

I remember meals like that in my mission from the Smalls. It tasted so good to have something so familiar and homey.
