This is our new friend. Dad met her in the food court at H.E.B. in November and she started asking questions about the church. Since then, she has been receiving the lessons from the missionaries. The latest ones are Sister Cortes(front right) and Sister Beltran. We have attended a few of the lessons and have been available, when we are home, to answer her questions. She speaks perfect English. She has set a couple of baptismal dates but has not been in town. So the new date is February 14th. She has a wonderful light in her eyes and has felt that what she has been taught was true from the beginning. The difficulty is her family who belong to two other religions. We hope she will carry through with what she has expressed is the desire of her heart. Last night, she wanted to meet with us for a few questions. The sister missionaries just happened to call while she was here so we invited them to eat with us. Then the Nolte's who teach at the Institute were free to come by and they met her and gave a tour of the Institute building. They teach a Book of Mormon class in English and Arely will be attending that class tonight with the sister missionaries. Then afterwards, she wants to stay to the choir portion where students gather together to sing. She seems genuinely interested and excited to be there.
