These 12 elders are on their way home tomorrow. Some of them are the cream of the crop and will be missed dearly. Tonight we had dinner at the mission home and then a devotional with a testimony meeting.
Elder Salazar shining his shoes for home, Elder Jimenez is talking to a recent convert and Elder Torres is just ready for bed. They have all been wonderful elders and will do great things in the near future.
It amazed us that they were all ironing their shirts and pants, shining their shoes and 2 of them were actually sewing on buttons or hemming their pants. None of them asked for help.
The next morning they all stood outside the mission home at 5:30 ready for the ride to the airport. We will miss them and the mission will miss them but the younger missionaries will rise to the top.
